Everbright International Signed Wujiang Waste-to-energy Project
Waste-to-energy Gains Another Victory
Market Presence in Jiangsu Gains More Momentum
As the 15th waste-to-energy project of the Group, Wujiang Project has a daily designed waste processing capacity of 1,500 tonnes. The Project will be equipped with three self-developed grate furnaces, each has a processing capacity of 500 tonnes and two 15MW generators. The gas emission of the Project will meet Euro 2000 standard.
Among the 15 waste-to-energy projects that Everbright International has invested, 13 are located in Jiangsu Province, which cover 10 prefecture-level and county-level cities, commanding a total investment of RMB6.07 billion. Since the first Waste-to-energy Project, Suzhou Project, has come to operation, the Group has been persistently adhering to its principle of "Producing quality projects and Building a quality brand", which has been accepted and recognized by the local society and gained the trust from the government. As of today, the number of environmental protection projects in Jiangsu Province has reached 33, with a total investment of RMB8.82 billion. They are, but not limited to, waste-to-energy, methane-to-energy, hazardous waste landfill, waste water treatment, sludge treatment, environmental protection equipment center, surface water, reusable water and photovoltaic energy projects. All the above have made an outstanding contribution to environmental management and energy conservation in Jiangsu Province.
