Everbright International Obtains Various Dedicated Subsidies Totaling RMB152.1 Million Year-To-Date
18 May 2017, Hong Kong - China Everbright International Limited ("Everbright International" or the "Group") (HKSE: 00257) is pleased to announce that it has obtained subsidies of RMB152.1 million in total on a year-to-date basis for a number of its environmental protection projects.For the environmental energy segment, the construction works of the Group's Zouping Waste-to-energy Project, Fei County Waste-to-energy Project, Xintai Waste-to-energy Project and Zoucheng Waste-to-energy Project received RMB25.65 million, RMB20.26 million, RMB10.70 million and RMB7.20 million subsidies under the provincial and municipal Central Budgetary Investment Plans respectively during the first four months of the year. In addition, the construction work of the Gaochun Waste-to-energy Project obtained a subsidy of RMB34.24 million under the Provincial Plan of Dedicated Projects and Funds for the Treatment of Lake Tai.
Together with the previously announced subsidies granted to the Nanjing Waste-to-energy Project Phase II and the Suqian Waste-to-energy Project Phase II under the Central Budgetary Investment Plan, which totaled RMB34 million, the Group's waste-to-energy projects under construction have received a total of RMB132.1 million in subsidies of various types so far this year.
In terms of the greentech segment, the Xiao County Integrated Biomass and Waste-to-energy Project received a subsidy of RMB20 million under the Central Budgetary Investment Plan from the National Development and Reform Commission of the PRC this month.
