Everbright Greentech Receives Three Awards In The BDO ESG Awards 2022

Hong Kong, 27 May 2022 – In recognition of its ongoing commitment to environmental, social, and governance ("ESG") and outstanding sustainability initiatives, China Everbright Greentech Limited (the "Company" or "Everbright Greentech", and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") (SEHK: 1257.HK) has received three honours at the recent BDO ESG Awards 2022 presentation ceremony in the Small Market Capitalisation category, namely "ESG Report of the Year", "Best in ESG Awards" and "Best in Reporting Awards". This is the second consecutive year that the Company has garnered honours at the BDO ESG Awards.

BDO is one of the world’s five largest accountancy networks. The BDO ESG Awards, which have received widespread attention from listed companies since it was first organised in 2018, aim to commend Hong Kong listed companies with outstanding performance and positive impact in ESG. The theme of the awards this year was "Carbon Neutrality", with expectations that companies would fulfil their corporate responsibilities by incorporating ESG factors into their business strategies and committing to a long-term net-zero emission business model. The awards are divided into four categories: the Main Board Large Market Capitalisation, the Main Board Mid Market Capitalisation, the Main Board Small Market Capitalisation and the GEM. Each of the award categories includes the "Best in ESG Awards" and "Best in Reporting Awards", while the "ESG Report of the Year" was granted the best among the winners in each award.
