Everbright International Secures Hazardous Solid Waste Landfill Project in Guanyun County, Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province

Further Expands Jiangsu Market and Creates Synergies with Other Projects

China Everbright International Limited ("Everbright International" or the "Group") has secured a hazardous solid waste landfill project in Guanyun County, Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province ("Lianyungang Project"or the "Project") commanding a total investment of RMB150 million. The Project further expands the Group's scale of operations within the environmental protection sector, and consolidates our leading position in the environmental business market.

Lianyungang Project is located in the coastal economic development zone of Guanyun County, Lianyungang in Jiangsu Province. It will be constructed and operated on a build, operate and transfer (BOT) basis, with a concession period of 25 years. The total designed capacity for this project is 500,000m3. Phase I of the Project is to have a designed total capacity of 300,000 m3, commanding an investment of approximately RMB109 million.
