Everbright International has been Re-selected as a Constituent Member of the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index Series

China Everbright International Limited ("Everbright International" or the "Group") is pleased to announce that it has been selected as a constituent member of the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index Series for the second consecutive year. This reaffirmed the recognition of the Group's outstanding performance in corporate sustainable development, including environmental, as well as corporate social responsibility and corporate governance.

The Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index Series is determined by a very stringent selection process with high standards for a corporation's contribution to sustainable development, including environmental, corporate social responsibility and corporate governance criteria. Most of the corporations that have been selected as constituent members of Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index Series are constituent members of the Hang Seng Index. This achievement not only demonstrates the profound recognition of the Group's contribution to environmental and corporate social responsibility from the financial market, but also represents the code of its corporate governance is in line with a Hang Seng Index constituent member.
