Dezhou Project Achieves Critical Construction Target
Progress on Schedule(Hong Kong, 28 January 2013) China Everbright International Limited ("Everbright International" or the "Group") is pleased to announce that the Dezhou Nanyunhe Waste Water Project ("Dezhou Project" or the "Project"), acquired on a BOT (build-operate-transfer) basis, has completed the construction of the secondary sedimentation tanks and is ready for water testing, which implies the Project has met all the prerequisites for a trial operation.
The Dezhou Project consists of two phases and overall, has a waste water treatment capacity of 150,000m3 per day, involving a total investment of approximately RMB 230 million. The Project, servicing 200,000 residents within 36 km2 of Decheng district, is being constructed according to grade 1A national standards for both phase I and phase II. Phase I of the Project, with a waste water treatment capacity of 75,000 m3 per day, has started construction on 26 June 2012, and recently completed the construction of the secondary sedimentation tanks, implying the achievement of a critical construction target for waste water treatment plant and indicating the Dezhou Project will complete construction as scheduled.
