Everbright International receives Two Awards from Reputed Corporate Governance Magazine

4 April 2014, Hong Kong – China Everbright International Limited ("Everbright International" or the "Group") (HKSE: 00257) is pleased to announce that Mr. Chen Xiaoping, CEO of Everbright International, was awarded the Asia's Best CEO of the 4th Asian Excellence Recognition Awards 2014 by Corporate Governance Asia, a respected magazine that reports on corporate governance in the region. In addition, the Group has also been awarded the Best Investor Relations Company.

Founded 11 years ago, Corporate Governance Asia is an authoritative journal on corporate governance in the Asia-Pacific region. It established The Asian Excellence Recognition Awards to recognize the achievements of companies and individuals in the areas of management acumen, financial performance, corporate social responsibility, environmental practices and investor relations. The awards winners are selected based on quantitative grading of over a thousand nominated corporates in the Asia-Pacific region and on interviews and surveys with a wide range of investors.
