Everbright International's Self-developed Grate Furnace Product Series Receive European Union's CE Mark

2 December 2014, Hong Kong – China Everbright International Limited ("Everbright International" or the "Group") (HKSE: 00257) is pleased to announce that the Group's self-developed products series of multistage hydraulic mechanical household waste grate furnace (including five different models of 300 tonnes/day, 350 tonnes/day, 400 tonnes/day, 500/day and 750 tonnes/day respectively) has received the European Union ("EU")'s CE Mark recently. It is another important international certificate for the Group's furnace products following the ISO9001 Quality Certificate. This indicates that all of the Group's existing furnace products have met the safety and export requirements of all the EU countries.

The CE mark is a safety certification mark. A product with CE mark indicates that it meets the requirements of related directives of the EU and is allowed to be sold in the EU markets using the CE mark. The CE mark is an important testament of high-quality products.

The majority of countries and regions across the world recognize the EU certification. The certificate has become a key benchmark for enterprises internally for quality control, product design and manufacturing. Externally, it is a guarantee of safety performance of the product and an effective passport for project bidding, project application and breaking international trade barriers, which is conducive to the Group in accelerating the expansion to international markets and further enhancing the awareness and competitiveness of Everbright International and its self-developed products.
