Everbright Water successfully acquired equity interest in Dongda Water

Singapore, 10 November 2015 - China Everbright Water Limited ("Everbright Water" or "the Company", SGX: U9E) (中国光大水务有限公司), an environmental protection company focuses on investment, operation and management of integrated environmental water business, the Company announced on 4 November 2015 that it has successfully acquired equity interest in Dalian Dongda Water Co., Ltd. ("Dongda Water"), which has become a subsidiary of Everbright Water.

Dongda Water is a leading waste water treatment company in Liaoning Province, principally engaged in the provision of water improvement services and municipal waste water treatment in Liaoning Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It has 17 municipal waste water treatment projects with a total contract daily treatment capacity of 1.125 million m³. This acquisition marked the first foray of the Company into Liaoning Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Following this acquisition, the Group's total daily waste water treatment capacity will increase by 32% to reach more than 4.6 million m³ per day.
