Everbright Greentech Secures Henan Zhecheng Integrated Project and Jiangxi Guixi Hazardous Waste Treatment Project

26 October 2017, Hong Kong - China Everbright Greentech Limited ("Everbright Greentech" or the "Company") (HKSE: 01257) is pleased to announce that it has recently secured Henan Zhecheng Integrated Biomass and Waste-to-energy Project ("Zhecheng Integrated Project"), and Jiangxi Guixi Hazardous Waste Integrated Treatment Project ("Guixi Project"), with a total investment of approximately RMB918 million.

Zhecheng Integrated Project commands a total investment of approximately RMB537 million. Of which, the investment of Zhecheng Integrated Project (Biomass) amounts to approximately RMB302 million; the project is designed with an annual agricultural waste processing capacity of 300,000 tonnes and is expected to generate approximately 210,000,000 kWh of electricity annually. The investment of Zhecheng Integrated Project (Waste-to-energy) Phase I amounts to approximately RMB235 million; the project will be invested and constructed on a BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) model; it is designed with a daily household waste processing capacity of 400 tonnes, with its gas emissions fully complying with the Euro 2010 Standard.

Guixi Project commands an investment of approximately RMB381 million; the project will be invested and constructed on a BOO (Build-Operate-Own) model. The project is designed with a total annual industrial waste processing capacity of 40,000 tonnes, including an annual hazardous waste incineration processing capacity of 20,000 tonnes, an annual physical-chemical processing capacity of 10,000 tonnes, and an annual landfill processing capacity of 10,000 tonnes. The operation period of the project will be no less than 50 years.

Guixi Project will be able to respond to this demand effectively upon commencement of the project construction. In.addition, the project is Everbright Greentech's first hazardous waste treatment project in Jiangxi Province.
