Zhangjiagang Project commands an investment of RMB466 million, with a designed annual hazardous waste landfill disposal capacity of 40,000 tonnes and a storage capacity of 550,000 m3. The project will be mainly responsible for collecting and processing hazardous waste in Zhangjiagang City and Suzhou City. It will be invested in and constructed on a BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) model for a concession period of 30 years.
Everbright Greentech has seen good news rolling in on its market expansion, which has bolstered the Company’s confidence in its new round of development. In 2018, with environmental inspections being further regularised and regulations on hazardous waste being continuously tightened, the demand for hazardous waste treatment further increases. This has given the Company the opportunity to expand its hazardous waste treatment business. Since its first hazardous waste treatment project commenced operation in 2006, Everbright Greentech has been upholding its business principle of “operating safely and stably in compliance with relevant emission standards”. As a result, the Company has recorded zero safety- or environment-related accident for many years, and has earned trust from the local communities. Everbright Greentech will continue to develop every hazardous waste treatment project into a demonstration project with high standards, with an aim of realising efficient, safe and harmless treatment of hazardous waste for the local areas where its projects are located.
