Everbright Greentech Secures Jiangsu Environmental Remediation Project Phase II

23 July 2018, Hong Kong – China Everbright Greentech Limited ("Everbright Greentech" or the "Company") (HKSE: 1257) is pleased to announce that it has secured the Jiangsu Environmental Remediation Project Phase II ("Project Phase II"), a reflection of the Company’s continued strong market expansion momentum in this new business segment.

The Company announced the signing of Jiangsu Environmental Remediation Project Phase I ("Project Phase I") on 3 July, commanding a contract value of approximately RMB26.00 million and marking a new breakthrough in this scope of business. With the site study and assessment of Project Phase I underway, Project Phase II was recently and successfully secured, commanding a contract value of approximately RMB44.89 million.

With a series of soil-related national policies and regulations launched on the heels of the ‘Action Plan for Soil Pollution Prevention and Control’, and with the Soil Pollution Prevention and Control Law set to be enacted this year, the soil remediation sector will present a window of opportunity to tap the environmental industry.
