Everbright Water Receives Approval for Multiple Subsidies Totaling RMB16.31 Million in First Half of 2018
Singapore, 24 July 2018 – China Everbright Water Limited ("Everbright Water" or the "Company", SGX: U9E) (中国光大水务有限公司), an environmental protection company focusing on water environment management, is pleased to announce that the Company has received approval for multiple subsidies totaling RMB16.31 million in the first half of 2018 from various government authorities at central, provincial, city (county) and district levels.
Due to the safe and stable operation, Ji'nan Waste Water Treatment Project received approval for a subsidy of RMB1.17 million from Ji'nan Urban and Rural Water Authority of Shandong Province under the Fund Plan by Using Awards in place of Subsidies for 2017 Municipal Waste Water Treatment Plant Work Assessment.
Zibo Waste Water Treatment Project received a construction subsidy of RMB2.00 million. In addition, Zibo Zhoucun Waste Water Treatment Project received subsidies totaling RMB360,000 under the 2017 Zibo City Science and Technology Development Plan from Zibo City Science and Technology Bureau and Zibo City Finance Bureau of Shandong Province. The subsidies will be used to continue research and development of the research topic "Key Technological Research on nbsCOD in Advanced Treatment of Waste Water Treatment Process by Using Ozone Catalytic Oxidation Technology".
Following Xinyi City Waste Water Treatment Project Upgrading recently receiving approval for a subsidy of RMB7.98 million from the central government, Xinyi Economic Development Zone Waste Water Treatment Project was granted a subsidy of RMB3.00 million from the provincial environmental protection guidance fund in Jiangsu Province.
Separately, the Company's Water Environment Technology Research Centre was granted a special subsidy of RMB1.80 million for its research results in the topic of "Key Technology Research and Development on the Heterogeneous Catalytic Ozonation of Non-biodegradable Leachate" from Science and Technology Innovation Commission of Shenzhen Municipality in Guangdong Province.
