Everbright Greentech Secures Jiangsu Lianshui General Industrial Solid Waste Treatment and Electricity and Heat Cogeneration Project

Hong Kong, 12 August 2020 – China Everbright Greentech Limited ("Everbright Greentech" or the "Company") (Stock code: 1257.HK) is pleased to announce that the Company has recently secured Lianshui General Industrial Solid Waste Treatment and Electricity and Heat Cogeneration Project ("Lianshui Solid Waste Project") in Jiangsu Province, commanding an investment of approximately RMB337 million.

Lianshui Solid Waste Project is designed to process approximately 120,000 tonnes of general industrial solid waste through incineration per annum. The project is expected to generate electricity of approximately 70 million kWh per annum, and provides steam supply of approximately 300,000 tonnes per annum for the surrounding industrial parks of the project. Lianshui Solid Waste Project will be invested in and constructed based on a BOO (Build-Operate-Own) for a concession period of no less than 30 years.

Following securing two general industrial solid waste projects in Suqian City and Xiao County, Everbright Greentech has successfully further expanded business in the general industrial solid waste sector. As the Company’s second project of this type in Northern Jiangsu, Lianshui Solid Waste Project will fully unleash synergy with other projects and complement market advantages in the region.
